My Thoughts:
The narration has the same reading style as the previous book. I'm glad they kept it like that because I liked the way Caitlin Greer and Zachary Webber reads and the way they compliment each other in their narration.

Again, like the previous book, there isn't much of a plot in this one. Boy meets girl. Angsty love with fight of good versus evil. The end. But it was still an enjoyable read... On the bright side, is the fact that I get to read some more of Sara and all the old characters from the previous books. It's like meeting old friends again! Kudos to the character development!

Empirical Evaluation:
Story telling quality = 4.5
Character development = 4.5
Story itself = 2.5
Writing Style = 4
Ending = 3.5
World building = 4
Cover art = 3.5
Pace = (10 hrs and 22 mins)
Plot = 2
Narration = 4.5

Overall Rating: 3.5 out of 5 cherries

My Thoughts:
In this book, Sara, our main protagonist is starting to get more too stupid to live (TSTL) than ever! I still like this series... werewolves, vampires, and faeries! What urban fantasy geek wouldn't like that?! But if the TSTL persists, I may not be a fan for very long...

This book culminates the trilogy and it was good. Good enough to keep me buying further into this series. The story telling quality is still good enough to keep me hooked... for now.

Audible Books

My Thoughts:
I've listened to audiobooks with multiple narrators before but these two complimented each other in the book so well, they're like a mated pair! Kudos to the narrators!

This series' books has two cover arts. The old ones are mostly faces of the characters and the new ones are more of an abstract art. The new cover art for this book has some sort of chocolate-kisses egg-like things in it... Got nothing to do with the story what-so-f****ng-ever! Like the publisher just randomly picked urban fantasy cover arts that looked good heedless whether or not it is appropriate for the book... what is that all about??! The old cover art though, nailed it! The faces fits the characters like a glove!

Despite the convenience of the audiobook, this is still not a very fast read/listen. I find myself needing breaks from the book and stop listening to it from time to time. No, not a very fast read at all.

This book has no plot at all. It's all about boy meets girl, and full of young love angst, the end. Still this book was an enjoyable read... hopefully the next book is better...

My Thoughts:
I know that the first book is titled Relentless, but I don't really get why the series is called Relentless... is it just solely because the first book is titled that?! A bit lame for a title for a series. Anyway our main protagonist, Sara, is proving to be just slightly too stupid to live (TSTL). I sincerely hope that this is not going to become a trend in this series because that would just be too bad! Because I really am beginning to like this series! And TSTL is just going to ruin it all! On the other hand, I am glad to see that Sara is discovering her other part(s) of herself and evolving into a more interesting character. The romantic angle that this book explored more than the previous book did, is also getting interesting! Love the romance! There isn't much of a plot though. But then again, this is an urban fantasy book and not a crime thriller, so forgivable from my point of view.

The author and/or publisher obviously changed the cover art for this series from "a boy and a girl" image to a more abstract water and oil art. I'm glad they did because the "boy & girl faces" is pretty boring!
