My Thoughts:
I am an old, old fan of this author and this series. Everything I have to say about this book, I probably have said already in my reviews of previous books in this series and the things I can say about this book would probably just be fan-girling and bias. However, that does not make it any less true that this book is a wonderful, wonderful read!!
Having said that, I do not think it is a coincidence that this book was released on the 18th of June because I was reading this book on the Summer Solstice while the events in the book happened on the Winter Solstice. Coincidence?
I'm so happy to have Lugh's Walking Stick back again!
Another thing I was looking forward to seeing in this book was how the severed relationship of Wulfe and Bonorata plays out for our team of heroes. Maybe in the next book then...
I had been waiting to see how the pack is faring with Sherwood Post and his memories back. Everything is not smooth sailing then. Also I was looking forward to seeing Pirate again. Now, that was a disappointment!
I presume that we will know if Jesse went to the wedding or not in the next book...
Once again Lorelei King gives us a wonderful performance!

Patricia Briggs was born in Butte, Montana to a children’s librarian who passed on to her kids a love of reading and books. Patricia grew up reading fairy tales and books about horses, and later developed an interest in folklore and history. Patricia graduated from Montana State University with degrees in history and German and she worked for a while as a substitute teacher.
