About Fated:
Christian Kent has many labels — warrior, protector, friend, lover — but the one label he never wanted was mate. In his lifetime, the only girl he has ever loved, was the one he couldn’t have. He left her to protect her heart, but his own will always belong to her.

As a girl, the one person she believed would never hurt her broke her heart. Now a warrior, she’s loving life and living for the next adventure. She’s put the past behind her, including the man who walked out of her life.

My Thoughts:
The narration has the same reading style as the previous book. I'm glad they kept it like that because I liked the way Caitlin Greer and Zachary Webber reads and the way they compliment each other in their narration.

Again, like the previous book, there isn't much of a plot in this one. Boy meets girl. Angsty love with fight of good versus evil. The end. But it was still an enjoyable read... On the bright side, is the fact that I get to read some more of Sara and all the old characters from the previous books. It's like meeting old friends again! Kudos to the character development!

Empirical Evaluation:
Story telling quality = 4.5
Character development = 4.5
Story itself = 2.5
Writing Style = 4
Ending = 3.5
World building = 4
Cover art = 3.5
Pace = (10 hrs and 22 mins)
Plot = 2
Narration = 4.5

Overall Rating: 3.5 out of 5 cherries

My Thoughts:
The story started right where the first book left off and ended right in the middle of the story. So this one is more like a chapter of a bigger book. The start was began in Maigc Bite and the continuation will be in the subsequent installments in the series. Therefore, plot-wise this book hasn't got much. In fact, if one reads Magic Sight on its own, the reader will be mightily confused because a lot of the explanations are in the previous book. I really like the premise of this book so the poor plot building and the cliffhanger ending is really a downer! And I don't like cliffhangers, so I probably wouldn't be reading further into this series...

Empirical Evaluation:
Story telling quality = 3.5
Character development = 3.5
Story itself = 1.5
Writing Style = 3
Ending = 1
World building = 4
Cover art = 4.5

About Kate Marcin:
I do voiceover so that I can help bring my client’s projects to life with a voice that sounds real and relatable. I absolutely love it. Since I was a kid, I’ve been fascinated with the performing arts. Now working for clients like Google, Dell and Skechers, I feel most comfortable embodying that relaxed, conversational, down-to-earth millennial spirit. Why am I telling you all this? Because I want to make your choice of who you hire as easy as possible so that your boss gives you the keys to her brand new Tesla and let’s you take over her corner office on the same day she’s come down with measles and has almost been pecked to death by a pigeon. Seriously, I’m here to help.

My Thoughts:
In this book, Sara, our main protagonist is starting to get more too stupid to live (TSTL) than ever! I still like this series... werewolves, vampires, and faeries! What urban fantasy geek wouldn't like that?! But if the TSTL persists, I may not be a fan for very long...

This book culminates the trilogy and it was good. Good enough to keep me buying further into this series. The story telling quality is still good enough to keep me hooked... for now.

Audible Books

My Thoughts:
I've listened to audiobooks with multiple narrators before but these two complimented each other in the book so well, they're like a mated pair! Kudos to the narrators!

This series' books has two cover arts. The old ones are mostly faces of the characters and the new ones are more of an abstract art. The new cover art for this book has some sort of chocolate-kisses egg-like things in it... Got nothing to do with the story what-so-f****ng-ever! Like the publisher just randomly picked urban fantasy cover arts that looked good heedless whether or not it is appropriate for the book... what is that all about??! The old cover art though, nailed it! The faces fits the characters like a glove!

Despite the convenience of the audiobook, this is still not a very fast read/listen. I find myself needing breaks from the book and stop listening to it from time to time. No, not a very fast read at all.

This book has no plot at all. It's all about boy meets girl, and full of young love angst, the end. Still this book was an enjoyable read... hopefully the next book is better...
